The Logistics Administrator at The Chefs Garden is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of products and shipments, particularly high-priority and perishable items. This role emphasizes coordination with sales, customs, and carriers while managing documentation, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in both domestic and international logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Monitor and track high-priority and overnight shipments; escalate issues as needed.
Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and documentation.
Prepare and verify export documents and shipping labels (air bills, freight bills).
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage international shipping documentation, including familiarity with CARM and Incoterms (e.g. DDP).
Serve as a liaison between customs brokers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Run regular delivery and claims reports.
Support internal coordination between logistics and sales by providing shipping rate updates and finding cost-effective shipping alternatives.
Build relationships with shipping vendors and short line carriers.
Operate tow motor equipment (certification required).
Any and all other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Valid drivers license with clean record.
Experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Adobe PDF).
Tow motor certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout shift.
Strong accountability, urgency, and adaptability.
