Sales Account Manager
Job Title: Sales Account Manager Job Type: Direct Hire Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay Rate: $65K - 80K + Commission Start Date: ASAP
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs all sales, relationship and customer service activities to acquire new clients and increase revenue from existing clientele. Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers. Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships with assigned clients to increase revenue and gross margin dollars. Introduces Belcan and its products to prospects with the goal of developing them into clients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain an active target list of prospective customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring consistent communication and a strong relationship.
- Understand client goals and needs and work proactively to ensure the company meets or exceeds expectations.
- Expands sales in existing accounts by maintaining a high level of engagement with clients, understanding their business objectives and future projects
- Address any client concerns or issues in a timely manner, working with internal teams to resolve problems.
- Focus on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction to ensure long-term retention.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics, progress, and insights.
- Work with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and address client needs.
- Responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Maintains records of all sales activities and follow-up requirements by utilizing SmartSearch CRM
- Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding business requirements.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining service capabilities and benefits to meet customer business needs; overcoming objections; preparing Terms & Conditions contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients that meet or exceed Belcan Pricing Guidelines and Standard Terms. Escalate negotiations to Branch or VP as needed.
- Resolves customer issues/problems, researches and makes recommendations for potential service enhancements or modifications to increase sales.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor"s Degree in a related field or the equivalent or five years outside sales experience generally required.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Sales within staffing service or technical sales organization preferred.
- Ability to operate general office equipment and sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously; meet deadlines; set own priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures; schedule day events; make cold calls; prepare and give formal presentations.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, problem solving, oral/written communication and presentation skills
- Must be able to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
- Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
