Join COLLIER CARE LLC as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Alliance, OH, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. This exciting role offers the chance to provide compassionate care and support while fostering independence and community integration. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage clients in recreational and social activities to promote community involvement.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
