Located in Springfield, OH Salary: $18 Pay: $18.00/hourSchedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Are you detail-oriented and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment? We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our team. This position plays a key role in processing equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products meet quality standards before being returned to service. Responsibilities:
- Process equipment and accessories, including post shores, rails, and other components
- Inspect equipment for damage and verify proper operation
- Perform quality checks and document findings
- Count, track, and reconcile inventory accurately
- Utilize smartphones and tablets to record data and complete transactions
- Operate inventory tracking systems and automated counting equipment
- Use hand and air tools such as drills, scrapers, and pneumatic tools
- Follow production, inspection, and inventory procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Report damaged or non-conforming products to supervisors
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, material handling, or quality inspection experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and counting accuracy
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and technology-based systems
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to identify equipment defects and quality concerns
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a 12-hour shift
- Exposure to loud noises, vibrations, and an active industrial environment
- Required use of safety equipment and adherence to all safety procedures
