Automotive Upholstery Technician
What Youll Do
- Disassemble and restore seat assemblies
- Repair or weld seat frames and springs
- Install new seat covers
- Remove and install convertible tops
- Install weather stripping spring kits and hydraulic components
- Adjust convertible tops and side glass for proper fit
- Create custom templates for trunk and interior work
- Work with the team and move between tasks as needed
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of automotive upholstery experience
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced hands-on environment
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
- Commitment to safety and quality
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Woodworking experience
- Template design using cardboard or similar materials
- Custom interior fabrication experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
