Senior Client Manager
Delta Dental of Washington is seeking a dynamic Sr. Client Manager to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Seattle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and ongoing management and renewal of national accounts.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $81,900.00 - $116,550.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora Foundation intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.
Essential Responsibilities include the following: The list of responsibilities listed is not intended to be comprehensive. - Build and implement an annual strategic plan for their existing book of business.
- Ongoing management of national accounts, including scheduled service meetings to day-to-day activities.
- Cultivates and manages relationships with brokers, groups, and other stakeholders of assigned groups.
- Responsible for the renewal activities related to each assigned DDWA account, including proposal coordination and delivery, negotiations of renewal plans and rates, and the successful sale of DDWA renewal recommendations.
- Achieve the annual persistency goal set for the Sr. Client Manager's book of business.
- Responsible for monitoring industry conditions and competitive activities to ensure our products and services meet these needs.
- Acts as the accounts' link to DDWA cross-functional teams and task forces, and key DDWA leadership staff as needed.
- Own the Request for Proposal process for existing clients and working with the DDWA proposal team to prepare the official response for designated accounts.
- Understand and optimally manage various program needs. Facilitate and lead problem solving meetings for accounts.
- Work collaboratively with the Product Manager - Group Solutions to ensure an understanding of large group client's needs.

- Washington State Office of Insurance Commissioner Health and Disability License is required.
- A valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university, and 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills
- Ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
