Dental Assistant
Turabify Co. is seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team in Franklin, OH. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring that our patients have a positive dental experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and managing patient records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and be dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as necessary.
- Manage patient records and ensure that all information is accurately entered and maintained.
- Provide patients with instructions for post-operative and general oral care.
- Help maintain a clean and organized dental office environment.
- Ensure that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and dental software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective patient care.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and time management abilities.
