Transportation Service Specialist
Location: Onsite – Toledo, Ohio 43659
Payrate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier communications for multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Assign daily freight to the company carrier base to meet delivery dates on customer orders in a cost-effective manner.
• Collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analysts, Material Planners, and other organizations to troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure product deliveries are on-time and damage-free by creating solutions in the best interest of the customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Fluency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• High degree of professionalism
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Problem solving and time management abilities
• Customer-driven mindset
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
