Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer of airport lighting systems as an Assembler, where you will build and wire components that are critical to safe and efficient airfield operations. In this role, you will work from diagrams and schematics to assemble, wire, and prepare products for production in a clean, modern, and highly controlled facility.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to assemble airport lighting system components accurately.
- Run and route wires according to specifications and diagrams to ensure proper electrical connections and functionality.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including fastening, mounting, and securing parts on assembly lines.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for assembly, wiring, and packaging activities.
- Conduct soldering work on electrical and electronic components as required to meet product standards.
- Measure and cut materials using tape measures and other measuring tools to maintain precise dimensions.
- Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and proper wiring, and make adjustments or corrections when needed.
- Stand for extended periods and consistently meet production and quality targets during the assigned shift.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on electrical or electronics experience in an assembly or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
Work Environment
The role is based in an extremely climate-controlled, brand-new state-of-the-art facility with a very clean and organized production floor. You will work with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring devices as part of daily assembly and wiring tasks. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM, providing consistent daytime hours. The setting offers a modern, comfortable workspace that supports precision work and collaboration, while maintaining a professional yet approachable atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
