Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. OT. Need to have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

The Powertrain Electrical Triage Engineer will work with various teams to root cause issues on vehicles at all build levels, identify issues, identify ownership of the issues, and drive issues to resolution. Candidate will be responsible for the following: Lead powertrain electrical root cause and determination of issues during all pilot phases, lead early powertrain electrical work, prototype builds and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

100% Onsite - Job originates out of Toledo Assembly Complex. 4000 Stickney Ave, Toledo, OH 43608

o Occasional travel to Auburn Hills, MI for training and team events may be required

o Candidates need to be local to the area or at least willing to drive to that plant everyday if they live further as the role will be on-site everyday at that plant.

Requirements:

o Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university

o 3-5 years of automotive system and component experience Powertrain and Vehicle system knowledge

o Knowledge and hands on use of CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other Electrical root cause tools.

o Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software/hardware requirements Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management

o Self-starter and motivated to produce results.

o Able to work on their own or with large team.

Additional Must Haves:

o Experience working in automotive and/or manufacturing environment

o Self-starter that has the ability to work without direct supervision

o Experience with CANalyzer/CANoe and/or other diagnostic tools and software

o Good analytical and problem solving skills

o 3-5 Years of experience
