Director Of Environmental Services
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments
- Ensure that all areas of the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and laundry, are clean and well maintained
- Train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies for housekeeping and laundry needs
- Develop and implement effective cleaning and laundry procedures
- Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to housekeeping and laundry services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high standard of service for residents
- Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry management, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
