Accounts receivable accountant accountant
The Office of Finance is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Accountant (Bond Accountant 1) who will:
- Assist other Bond Accountants in completing monthly tasks (e.g., deposit checks, create cash receipts, maintain accounts receivable aging information, review mortgage revenue bond programs, maintain grant information)
- Process draw requests (e.g., upload & index draws, complete monthly folders in the document imaging system)
- Support the purchasing supervisor (e.g., process purchase order requests, create & maintain vendor entries, upload & index purchasing documents, communicate with vendors to resolve issues, assist with agency travel responsibilities)
Process assigned finance help desk tickets (e.g., request needed information, communicate status of ticket, complete ticket)

The Office of Finance is seeking a Bond Accountant 1 with the following minimum qualifications:
- 24 months training or 24 months experience in accounting.
- OR completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or public administration.
OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Supplemental InformationThis position will be filled in accordance with the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association (OCSEA) contract. If we are not successful in filling the position with a qualified, internal bargaining unit member, other applicants will be considered. At that time, preference will be given to those candidates who possess experience with accounts receivable and purchasing experience. Qualifying, internal bargaining unit members are not eligible for consideration if they have applied and been considered within the past 180 days.
