Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Lead a culture of Safety within the workplace
- Ensure all operations are carried on in a safe, appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Hold the shift and/or area accountable for standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
- Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality
- Drive operational excellence and process optimization
- Perform quality controls and monitor/report production KPIs
- Lead and motivate employees through positive encouragement, training, and coaching
- Establish and maintain a well-motivated team including training, supporting, and developing each team member.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading work cells and teams
- Knowledge of plant operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
