iOS Mobile Developer
Akkodis is seeking an iOS Mobile Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will bring over a decade of hands‑on iOS development expertise, a critical qualification for delivering high‑performance mobile applications.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
iOS Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and other modern iOS frameworks.
Build intuitive, responsive mobile UIs—from layouts to animations—and integrate REST APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
Lead system design, application development, and troubleshooting activities to ensure application performance, operational stability, and scalability.
Implement thorough unit and functional testing using tools such as XCTest, Mockito, or Espresso to maintain code quality and reliability.
Develop secure, production‑ready code and optimize app performance through effective use of multithreading, data structures, and platform best practices.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver multi‑tenant, localized mobile solutions and support continuous improvement through automation and modern development techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years of hands‑on experience in native iOS mobile application development.
Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and REST API integration with proven ability to design responsive, animation‑rich mobile interfaces.
Demonstrated experience in automated unit and functional testing, operational stability, and producing secure, high‑quality production‑ready iOS code.
