Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic at Mid Ohio Valley Bulk Transport, you will play a critical role in keeping our fleet in top condition to ensure safe and reliable operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing engines, electrical systems, drivelines, air systems, air brakes, A/C, suspension, after-treatment systems.
• Conducting thorough inspections and troubleshooting issues to meet safety and performance standards.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

We're looking for a dependable and experienced heavy-duty mechanic with the following:

• Proven experience with Freightliner tractors(Detroit engines) and Peterbilt's(Cummins and Paccar engines)
• Solid knowledge of routine maintenance, PM services, electrical systems, driveline, air systems, brakes, A/C, suspension, after-treatment systems, and ABS diagnostics.
• Possession of your own tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license(CDL Class A is not required but is a plus!)
• Ability to pass drug screen

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday,7:30 AM to 4:00 PM(8-hour shifts).
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on demand.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
