Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will perform both electrical and mechanical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment throughout the plant. Daily responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines.
• Diagnose electro-mechanical devices to locate and repair or replace defective parts.
• Respond to mechanical and electrical trouble calls and make necessary repairs.
• Start and set up machinery and equipment, adjusting PLCs and VFDs as required.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
• Proficiency with tools and maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshooting skills, particularly with 480V 3-phase motor control systems.
• Experience in rigging, installing equipment, and conveyors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical documentation such as wiring diagrams and programming information.
• Use of electrical testing devices like ohmmeters.
• 2 to 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced welding skills.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation.
• PLC troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience in preventive maintenance in an industrial setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEBANON, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
