What You'll Be Doing
Financial Record Keeping
- Record all financial transactions accurately and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
- Track and collect accounts receivable in DASH, ensuring prompt and accurate posting within 24 hours.
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Track contractor payments and manage W-9 and 1099 reporting.
- Manage billing receipts to maintain positive cash flow.
Payroll & Employee Expenses
- Prepare payroll, ensuring accuracy in wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Track employee reimbursements and expenses for accurate recording and compliance.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparing profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (sales tax, payroll tax, etc.).
- Support audits and financial reviews.
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement improvements in bookkeeping and accounting workflows.
- Improve reporting accuracy using accounting software.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams on financial matters.
- Provide financial insights to management as needed.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
✅ 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role
✅ Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
✅ High attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Strong communication and organizational skills
✅ Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively

- $22-$23 per hour
