Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to inspire and educate students across various age groups, including early childhood (PreK–5), middle childhood (Grades 4–8), and adolescence/young adult (Grades 9–12). In this dynamic role, you will create engaging learning environments that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. You will develop innovative curricula, utilize cutting-edge learning technology, and implement effective classroom management strategies to support diverse student needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys while advancing your teaching career in a vibrant educational setting.
The ESC of Medina County is seeking qualified teachers to join our team. This position serves a diverse population of students in a small-group setting.
Candidates will collaborate with our behavior team and school social worker to support students in a trauma-informed and compassionate environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with students with behavioral challenges and mental health needs, possess strong classroom management skills, and build cooperative, respectful partnerships with families.
Teachers will work as part of a collaborative team to implement and support program goals.
Qualifications:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Possesses appropriate ODE licensure.
- Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
- Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Hours and Days: 5 days per week; 7.5 hours per day
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
