School Drivers (Urgently hiring in Strongsville)

Position Summary:
We’re seeking responsible, caring drivers to transport students with developmental disabilities to and from school using their own personal vehicles. Drivers work split shifts (morning and afternoon) and are paid competitive weekly wages comparable to full-time work—despite part-time hours. We are seeking candidates who are used to being on the road like Uber, Lyft and Doordash drivers. We also heavily encourage you to apply if you are looking for extra income without taking up too much time out of your day!

Key Responsibilities:

• Use your own vehicle (4-door, 2014 or newer) to safely transport students to and from school
• Follow scheduled pickup/drop-off times and assigned routes
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students and families
• Ensure each child is safely secured using appropriate safety restraints
• Report attendance, behavioral issues, or delays in real time to dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle at all times
• Participate in company-provided training on safety, disability awareness, and compliance

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday (school days only)
• AM Shift: Pick up students from home and take them to school
• PM Shift: Pick up students from school and take them home
• Hours vary based on route, typically 2–4 hours per day (split between AM and PM)

Requirements:

• Must own a reliable 4-door vehicle (model year 20 or newer)
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Clean driving record and background check
• Must be 21 years or older
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a caring attitude

Compensation:

• Weekly pay ranges from $300 to $800 , depending on your assigned schedule and route
• Pay is comparable to a full-time income for part-time work
• Pay may fluctuate if students are absent (e.g., illness, vacations)
