Electrical engineer - design
Job Description
A space manufacturing client in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking Electrical Engineers to support their analog and digital design for their electronics and ordnance applications. This resource will be working a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday and will be responsible for the following:

Circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and Spice tools

Requirements development, refinement, and compliance.

Generate test plans and test reports related to product performance (Brassboard, Design Verification, Qualification, Firing Properties, etc.)

Lead and direct test activities in all phases of product development cycle.

Lead or assist in failure investigations using structured tools (8D, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, etc.).

Generate material for and lead design reviews for all phases of the product development cycle.

Act as primary technical interface to internal and external customers.

Provide inputs (material and labor estimates) for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Lead and multi-task across several projects simultaneously

Skills and Requirements
2+ years in power systems (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, linear & switching) 4+ years presenting designs to Safety Review Boards (AFSRB, FISTRP, NNMSB) 2+ years working with energetic materials (EFDIs, LEEFIs, lead charges, boosters) Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or anything relevant 3+ years in mixed-signal design (op amps, LDOs, filters, data converters, logic gates, etc.)Module design (component selection, circuit analysis, etc.)
