Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support their elementary school students for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing psychological services that enhance student academic success and emotional well-being within an elementary educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis support to students
- Assist in behavioral assessments and develop strategies to support positive student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within elementary school environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Contract Terms:
