Quality Inspector - 3 Needed

A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform receiving and first piece and in-process inspections for work in process. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Mechanical inspection of metal part
Perform first piece and in-process inspections
Verify and document that materials are manufactured to customer-supplied blueprints
Measure and document part dimensions and maintain acceptable quality levels during production
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications and follow written and oral instructions
Accurately use micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gages, gage pins, protractors, hardness testers and optical comparators
Measure and document part dimensions and maintain company quality systems
Use Microsoft Office, shop mathematics, and trigonometry
Follow all company safety and operations policies
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must have a High school diploma or GED
Experience in a manufacturing environment with an ISO9001 quality system preferred
Accurately use micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gages, gage pins, protractors, hardness testers, and optical comparators
Must have a working knowledge of shop mathematics and trigonometry
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and follow written and oral instructions
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Must be motivated to learn and develop within the company
Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
