Landscape Irrigation Technician

Position Overview:
Green Impressions is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician . This role offers year-round employment, including snow removal during the winter months. As a technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems, performing backflow testing, and assisting with the installation of new systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform seasonal startup and shutdown of irrigation systems
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
• Conduct backflow testing and ensure systems are compliant with regulations
• Assist with the installation of new irrigation systems
• Maintain accurate records and complete appropriate paperwork
• Work Monday-Friday, with Saturdays as needed; start time at 7:15 AM, with variable end times (typically 4:00-6:00 PM)

Qualifications:

• Backflow Certification (strongly preferred)
• Valid and clean driver's license (required)
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems
• Strong communication, job planning, and mechanical aptitude skills
• Ability to lead and communicate with coworkers and clients
• Experience operating skid-steer loaders and mini-excavators (preferred)
• Experience with trenchers and diagnosing landscape lighting (preferred)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding marijuana)

Compensation:

• Salary: $22-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification
