Landscape Irrigation Technician

Green Impressions, Sheffield Village, Ohio
Position Overview:
Green Impressions is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician . This role offers year-round employment, including snow removal during the winter months. As a technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems, performing backflow testing, and assisting with the installation of new systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform seasonal startup and shutdown of irrigation systems
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
- Conduct backflow testing and ensure systems are compliant with regulations
- Assist with the installation of new irrigation systems
- Maintain accurate records and complete appropriate paperwork
- Work Monday-Friday, with Saturdays as needed; start time at 7:15 AM, with variable end times (typically 4:00-6:00 PM)
Qualifications:
- Backflow Certification (strongly preferred)
- Valid and clean driver's license (required)
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems
- Strong communication, job planning, and mechanical aptitude skills
- Ability to lead and communicate with coworkers and clients
- Experience operating skid-steer loaders and mini-excavators (preferred)
- Experience with trenchers and diagnosing landscape lighting (preferred)
- Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding marijuana)
Compensation:
- Salary: $22-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification
