Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Cleaveland, OH. Candidate must have strong proficiency in Python (3.x) to develop secure, high‑performance services and integrate applications with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications using modern frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Build and enhance microservices and REST APIs while ensuring clean, efficient, and reusable code aligned with best practices.

• Integrate applications with SQL/NoSQL databases, third‑party services, and internal APIs to support end‑to‑end functionality.

• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across the stack, resolving issues related to backend logic, data processing, and integrations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers—throughout the development lifecycle.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, technical design discussions, and documentation to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of professional experience in Python development, backend engineering, and modern application design.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python frameworks, REST APIs, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases as required by the client.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD tools, Git, and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) per client expectations.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
