Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Akron, OH 44304 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center, 74-bed Emergency Department
• Assignment Length: 18 weeks (08/31/2025 – 01/03/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-Site Position

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (required)
• Recent EPIC EMR charting experience within the past year (must be shown on resume)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Proficient in venipuncture and IV starts
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Ability to wear black scrubs
• Valid Driver's License or State ID for submission
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and competency exams
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) at submission; no additional RTO accepted after submission

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Initiate and manage IV lines, perform venipuncture, and administer medications as ordered
• Accurately document all patient care using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Float to other clinical units as needed to support patient care
