Machinist
Nesco Resource is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Twinsburg, OH to find an experienced Mill and Lathe Machinist for a first-shift opportunity. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work and enjoys hands-on operation of manual equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment. Job title: Mill and Lathe Machinist Location: Twinsburg, OH Shift: 1st shift (10 hour days Monday through Friday 6am - 4:30pm with occasional Saturdays as needed) Salary: $25 to $30 an hour based on experience Contract to hire As the Manual Machinist you would be responsible for setup and operation of manual Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM), Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL), and other manual Lathes. Duties/Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual control machines based on part configuration
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
- Understand and comply with industry regulations
- Read and follow blueprints or original components to manufacture new parts
- Regularly clean machinery and equipment as needed
- 2 years' experience in Mill and Lathe Machine setup and operation
- Perform basic math, have strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail.
- Able to complete tasks in a fast paced job shop environment.
- Overhead crane operation experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
