Maintenance Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: Beaver Local School District is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with a diverse skill set to join our maintenance team. The Maintenance Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of district facilities and grounds.The ideal candidate will be capable of performing hands-on maintenance and repairs across school buildings, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for students and staff. This position also requires a working knowledge of athletic field and grounds care, including mowing, field preparation, and general landscape maintenance.Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The ability to troubleshoot and assist with a wide range of maintenance tasks is essential.The selected candidate will be required to obtain appropriate certification for the application of herbicides and pesticides in accordance with state regulations.This position requires a dependable individual who can work independently, respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner, and contribute positively as part of a team.
