Industrial Production Associate – Pole Coatings & Assembly
Entry-level, multi-department manufacturing role where versatility and a steady pace are key.
A Day in This Role
You’ll start your shift reviewing the day’s assignments and work instructions, then rotate to the area with the highest demand—this could be the pole paint line, an assembly station, or another production cell. Throughout the day you’ll follow written and verbal directions, keep your work area orderly, and move efficiently to meet production needs. You’ll inspect each part you handle, flagging any defects to your Supervisor, and you’ll wear the required PPE while using basic hand tools to complete tasks safely. As demands shift, you’ll adapt and take on other duties assigned by management.
Core Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and execute both written work instructions and verbal direction.
- Inspect parts for defects and promptly report any issues to the Supervisor.
- Follow all production standards and safety procedures without exception.
- Support multiple departments and stations, stepping in where needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
What You Bring
- Willingness to rotate between jobs and departments as workload shifts.
- Ability to maintain a consistent, acceptable pace throughout the shift.
- Ownership of product quality and commitment to a clean, safe workspace.
- Comfort using basic hand tools and wearing all required PPE.
- Reliable transportation, strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
- Self-motivated team player who can be counted on to follow through.
- Availability for a 40-hour schedule with mandatory overtime when production requires.
Physical Realities of the Job
- Stand on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
- Lift up to 50 lbs for approximately 25% of your shift.
- Work in high summer temperatures (approximately 90–100°F).
Preferred Experience
- Warehouse experience.
- Heavy material handling.
