TravelNurseSource is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified Behavioral Health RN in Zanesville, Ohio, 43701!

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient Behavioral Health facility located on the Genesis Healthcare System campus. The RN will provide care to primarily adult patients, with occasional adolescent populations, in a structured behavioral health setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, crisis management skills, and the ability to function in a charge nurse capacity when needed. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Monitor and assess patients with mental health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Supervise and support staff when functioning in a charge nurse role
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to work in a charge nurse role
• Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing experience
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification

Schedule Requirements

• 3 shifts per week (12-hour night shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Additional 24 hours of on-call time over a 6-week period

Additional Information

• This is a contract position for 13 weeks
• Candidates must complete all compliance requirements prior to start (for May 18 start date eligibility)
