Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Columbus, OH, for an Intervention Specialist focusing on an elementary caseload. This travel position allows you to work in a supportive school environment with a manageable caseload and engaging daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities, preferably holding a Mod-Severe endorsement (mild-moderate endorsement candidates will also be considered)
• Manage a caseload of 12-16 elementary students, tailoring interventions to individual learning needs
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with educational standards and regulations
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and engagement

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for elementary level
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred; mild to moderate experience will also be considered
• Clean professional record and commitment to student safety and well-being
• Availability to begin ASAP through May 21st

Work Details:

• Location: Columbus, OH (Travel assignment)
• Full-time schedule: 6.5 hours per day, 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
