We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our clients team in North Royalton, Ohio. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including managing payables and receivables, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the complete cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Input financial data with accuracy and efficiency into the accounting system.

• Manage vendor relationships and address any discrepancies or inquiries.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation as needed.

• Evaluate inventory records to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.

• Perform account reconciliations to verify financial records.

• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries.

• Collaborate with the Controller on various assigned tasks and projects.

• Organize and maintain filing systems for financial documentation.

• Monitor the accounting inbox and resolve issues or inquiries promptly.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

• Experience with invoice processing and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Sage accounting software or similar platforms.

• Ability to create and post journal entries in accounting systems.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
