What you'll do here:
We are looking for a highly motivated and meticulous Learning Designer to join our fast-paced Catalog Quality team. This role is outstanding in its opportunity to influence the future of digital learning by closely aligning content strategy with product strategy to keep courses updated for both current and future learners. You will create and effectively implement innovative enhancements and repairs to ensure our catalog is filled with premier educational products that meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze how updates to content, materials, and assessments impact the experience for both Learners and Instructors to develop clear Learning Design Plans to implement repairs and enhancements that align with Cengage standards and the Product Strategy Document.

Implement learning improvements to curricula and content in collaboration with the Product and Content teams.

Work closely with SMEs, Content Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other collaborators to develop top-notch products.

Ensure course updates are completed on time and within budget.

Stay current on digital learning, learning science, and pedagogical trends.

Advocate for learning within the team, driving continuous improvement in curriculum development standards and learner outcomes.

Measure and evaluate the learning experience, collecting and analyzing metrics to provide insights.

Ensure meticulous quality control standards are in place and accomplished flawlessly.

Resolve content-related support issues quickly and systematically.
Skills you will need here:

Proven ability to build engaging learning activities, instructional development, or a related field.

Strong understanding of Backward Design, pedagogical principles and learning science.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to problem-solve and implement detailed repairs and enhancements.

Experience with e-learning authoring tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Master's level education or professional training program in education, instructional composition, educational technologies, or related fields.

Experience working directly with programming code languages (e.g. HTML5, CSS)

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
$3,000.00 - $4,775.00 USD
