Job Responsibilities:
- Profee coding, also known as Professional Fee Coding, focuses on the codes assigned to services rendered by healthcare professionals, primarily in outpatient or office settings. It's distinct from facility coding, which focuses on the hospital or facility where the service is provided. Profee coders use codes like CPT, HCPCS Level II, and ICD-10-CM to represent the procedures, services, and diagnoses related to patient care
Skills:
- 2-3 years' experience
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
