Assistant Coordinator of Finance and Administration (Financial Specialist IV)

: JOB Works within the Department of Emergency Management and Security overseeing the Finance and Administration Division. Manages agency-wide budget, human resources, purchasing and procurement, grants, contract administration, audits, and countywide reimbursements (FEMA PA, EMAC, SMA, and Special Events). Manages security special request payments, monthly invoice reconciliation and adjustments for the county wide security contract. Assists with all matters relating to FEMA public assistance for the county. Leads county agencies in cost recovery efforts. Serves as the department travel, FMLA, and FOIA coordinator. Performs human resources management duties. Works under general supervision from the Deputy Coordinator of Mission Support.The position is classified as Emergency Service Personnel and will be required to work in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during activations. May require 12 hour orlonger shifts that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Serves as Emergency Management staff Duty Officer 24/7 on a rotational basis providing support response during emergencies.
