Pay Rate: Up to $32/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 40 hours/week + OT expected
Start Date: August 11, 2025
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Bonus: $5,000 sign-on bonus + possible relocation assistance

Position Overview:
A leading manufacturing facility in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a Die Repair Technician to join its team on 3rd shift. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and a strong bonus package. The role involves hands-on work maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding casting and trim dies to original specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble casting and trim dies using appropriate tools and equipment

• Build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints

• Draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces as needed

• Weld and perform repairs while dies are on machines or in the Die Repair Department

• Troubleshoot production tooling issues and resolve dimensional or mechanical problems

• Use cranes, forklifts, and die cleaning equipment for safe movement and maintenance of dies

• Document work using forms, work orders, pictorials, and other required records

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Train new employees as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of die repair experience (or willingness to complete a 2-year on-the-job training program)

• Ability to draw polish and grind die cavity surfaces

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

• Welding skills in a die repair or foundry setting

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently

• Strong problem-solving and mechanical reasoning skills

• Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers a plus, but not required

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma required

• Associate’s degree, trade/technical school training, or journeyman certificate preferred
