How You’ll Make An Impact

• Complete pre-inspection (and post-inspection where required) of equipment such as fork truck and yard tractor to ensure safe operating condition
• Proper operation of forklift and yard tractor; safely using horns, backup alarms and safety strobe lights
• Use yard tractor to move trailers from dock-to-dock as needed
• Move component trailers to production lines
• Move empty trailers to dock C & A,B for loading (communicate status)
• Load/unload shuttle trailers
• Stage loaded trailers for transfer as required
• Stage empty supplier trailers appropriately for pick-up
• Communicate with production lines, warehouse, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are staged in appropriate dock doors or locations
• Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements
• Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP
• Load Recycling Trailers
• Checking in third-party drivers
• Packaging, preparing, and shipping daily common carrier shipments
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Operate equipment safely
• May also be asked to assist with other plant duties outside of the scope of the daily job responsibilities
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Must have Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Communicate with warehouses, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are taken to the correct locations.
• Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP.
