To support the daily operations of the International Programs and Partnerships office.

Essential Functions

• Help coordinate logistics for student engagement activities and events on and off campus, including social, cultural, and educational programming.
• Collaborate with office staff on the planning and execution of New International Student Orientation programming efforts.
• Manage event registrations and assist with post-event evaluations.
• Assist with social media content creation and communication outreach.
• Will work approximately 10-15 hours per week to assist with the planning and facilitation of international student programming.
• Some evening or weekend hours may be required for some events.
• Other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a current BGSU student.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness and sensitivity when working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data entry.
• Experience with social media platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, etc.
• Prior experience in event planning, customer service, or administrative work is preferred but not required.

• Position starts May 4 and continues through the Academic Year.
