About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Columbus, OH (onsite)
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Work Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Total Weekly Hours: 36 15E - Acute Leukemia and Hematology - 12HR D/N ROTATING or 12HR NIGHTS - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!!!


Experience: Must have MS oncology and at least 1 year inpatient hematology oncology experience in work history and checklist. A minimum of two years of overall nursing experience is required.


First Time travelers: NO
Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
Staffing Ratios: Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
Schedule: No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
Orientation: First week: Mon-Fri dayshift. Second week: 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.


If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

Patient falls prevention

Chemotherapy administration
Central line sterile dressing changes


COMPUTERIZED CHARTING
EPIC experience required
