As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring accurate maintenance of process-related systems for assigned suppliers and parts. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels to support warehouse packing operations and plant production, while fostering strong communication networks with suppliers to enhance delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate process-related systems for suppliers and parts.

• Ensure sufficient inventory levels to support warehouse and plant operations.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

• Identify, evaluate, and escalate critical issues to management for resource allocation.

• Collaborate with departments and project leaders to support Mass Production Site Delivery Powertrain projects.

• Manage New Model and Mass Production design change activities.

• Conduct root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation through Gemba activities.

• Strive for continuous improvement using the Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) cycle.

• Develop self and team capabilities through training and mentoring.

• Support company vision and business plan activities.

Essential Skills

• Purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management expertise.

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of purchasing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management and manufacturing workflow.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot problems in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The position offers a long-term opportunity with potential for direct hire, along with PTO, holiday pay, and shutdown pay while on contract.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Anna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
