What You’ll Do as a Millwright Apprentice / Rigger Helper

• Assist in rigging, moving, and installing industrial machinery
• Learn how to anchor, level, and set equipment safely
• Support experienced millwrights and foremen on machinery moves
• Operate forklifts, man-lifts, and rigging gear (training provided)
• Help with loading, unloading, and securing equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
• Travel regionally to job sites across Ohio as needed

Typical Pay & Growth Path

(Experience | Title | Hourly Rate)

• 0–2 Years | Millwright Rigger Apprentice | $20–$25/hr
• 2–5 Years | Experienced Millwright | $25–$30/hr
• 5+ Years | Journeyman Millwright | $30–$34/hr
• Lead | Millwright Foreman | $35–$50/hr+

Pay is based on experience, performance, and training progress. Overtime is available, and all team members are trained and promoted from within.

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn rigging and millwright skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet, and operate basic tools safely
• Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
• Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally work overtime
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Positive attitude, good communication, and willingness to grow

Experience Preferred

• Previous construction, mechanical, or industrial experience helpful
• Forklift or aerial/scissor-lift experience a plus
• Welding, fabrication, or maintenance background a plus
