A K-12 school in Troy, OH, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services for the uping school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support students from preschool transitions through grade 12 within a dynamic educational setting.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and parents, developing intervention plans, and supporting students social-emotional and academic development. The role involves managing a varied caseload, supporting both early childhood transitions and upper grade levels, ensuring prehensive psychological services are delivered effectively.
Key duties:
- Conduct assessments for students across preschool to grade 12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support behavior intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to address student needs
- Provide counseling and consultation to support student success
- Facilitate preschool transition evaluations and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure for school psychology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, including preschool transitions
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
- Location: Troy, OH area with services in Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH)
- Schedule: Four days per week, with potential to expand to five days
- Contract duration: School Year (NSY)
