Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000

What's the Job?

• Oversee and maintain safety, quality, and production standards within the assigned department
• Ensure proper staffing requirements are met and enforce all safety practices
• Prepare daily efficiency reports and monitor key performance indicators to meet or exceed targets
• Verify compliance with HACCP documents and monitor GMPs to uphold food safety standards
• Apply BRC principles and relevant training to team members to ensure standards are maintained

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food processing, with familiarity in USDA and HACCP standards
• Bachelor’s Degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make quick and sound decisions
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and global standards such as BRC
