Materials data analyst

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and business performance.

Conduct deep-dive trend and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

Partner with functional teams (operations, finance, supply chain, sales) to define metrics, design reports, and automate recurring analyses.

Use statistical and predictive analysis to support planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

Continuously improve data pipelines and data integrity , working closely with IT and system owners.

Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, business-focused terms.

Support SIOP and strategic planning processes with timely, accurate data and insights.

Identify automation opportunities and implement self-service analytics tools to empower users and reduce manual reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering , or related field (Master’s preferred).

3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles.

Advanced proficiency in Excel , SQL , and at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

Strong experience in data modeling, visualization, and storytelling .

Solid understanding of relational databases, data integration, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with advanced analytics or automation preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain analytics is a plus.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.

Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
