Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Assisted Foot Patrol in Ashville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and document observations, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and logs.
• Assist with access control functions such as checking identification, verifying visitor credentials, issuing temporary badges, and/or directing traffic and deliveries according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
