We are currently hiring a skilled Excavator Operator / Pipe Layer to join our expanding excavation team specializing in residential sewer and water service repair and replacement.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators on residential and commercial job sites
• Maintaining proper job site documentation
• Perform sewer digging and repairs
• Install and replace water lines and downspouts
• Work as a pipe fitter on sewer and water service lines
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently with a crew to complete excavation projects
• Interact professionally with customers as needed
• Maintain excavation equipment
• Safely work in confined spaces and open trenches
• Load, unload, and secure equipment on transport trailers

Requirements

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid, hands-on experience operating an excavator in a variety of construction settings is required, showcasing a robust understanding of machinery and its proper maintenance.

We seek candidates with experience in both residential and commercial construction projects, demonstrating versatility and the ability to adapt to different environments and requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong safety awareness and a reputation for being dependable and trustworthy, ensuring that job site protocols are followed meticulously at all times.

Additionally, any experience with trenchless technology for water, sewer, and gas installations would be considered a valuable asset, further enhancing the qualifications of the applicant.
