Optometric Technician
Job Opportunity: Optometric Assistant
We are a busy multi-doctor optometry office seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, perfect for someone looking to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Pre-screening patients for their exams
- Documenting medical history for patients at time of exam
- Conducting medical testing
- Conducting contact lens fittings
- Dispensing glasses/contacts
- Taking measurements for lenses
- Scheduling patients and managing appointments
- Processing payments and assisting with eyewear selection and dispensing
- Performing various secretarial and administrative tasks
- Utilizing computer systems for patient records and transactions
- Providing exceptional customer service to all patients
- Learning insurances
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required—training will be provided
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Computer/technology skills
- A friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent people skills
