Hickory Sticks Golf Club Greens Mower
Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Greens Mower at a premier golf club, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our greens. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your lawn care expertise and mechanical knowledge to ensure the course remains visually stunning and playable. Your dedication will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests, fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and power tools, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Mow greens, potentially other areas of the course, with precision to uphold the course’s high standards of quality.
- Hours will start Tuesday-Sunday from 6:00 am to 9:00 am, with potential for more hours, off on Mondays.
- 1 weekend off a month, if needed.
- Typically position is from April to November.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or golf course maintenance is highly desirable, but not required.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices, irrigation systems, and garden maintenance will be beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with tree trimming, snow plowing, or construction projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques combined with a proactive approach to course upkeep.
