Strader’s Garden Centers is seeking a motivated, reliable individual to join our Landscape Delivery and Installation Crew . This position primarily focuses on the delivery and installation of trees, shrubs, and landscape materials for customers. Between deliveries and planting projects, team members will also assist in our Outdoor Nursery , helping maintain plant quality, organize product displays, and support customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, physical activity, teamwork, and being around plants and landscaping projects .

What You'll Be Doing

Landscape Delivery & Installation (Primary Role)

Most of your time will be spent helping deliver and install landscape materials

• Load delivery vehicles and secure product for safe transport
• Deliver trees, shrubs, and bagged materials to customer homes safely and efficiently
• Assist with the planting of trees and shrubs as directed by the Crew Leader
• Deliver product between Strader’s locations when needed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after deliveries
• Maintain a professional and helpful presence while on customer properties

Nursery Support (Secondary Role)

Between deliveries and installations, you'll help keep our outdoor nursery running smoothly.

• Water and care for plants to maintain nursery health and appearance
• Keep nursery beds and containers free of weeds and debris
• Assist with unloading trucks and organizing product displays
• Price products and place display signage
• Load mulch, sod, trees, and other materials into customer vehicles
• Assist with general nursery upkeep and cleaning
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, Bobcats, or pallet jacks (training provided)

What We're Looking For

• Ability to operate or learn to operate a box truck with a 15–18 ft trailer
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and work on your feet throughout the day
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to work well with a team and provide helpful customer service
• Flexible availability including some weekends
