Software Engineer - Automation and Emerging Technologies

Software Engineer
Job Duties
Design, develop, and implement software solutions using a variety of database packages and/or programming languages (JScript, C#, ASP.Net, XML, a variety of ODBC/ADO compliant database packages and SQL Server) to control a fleet of automated guided vehicles.
Create, review and validate unique scripts/code within the database.
Define logic and blocking within vehicle database, among other features.
Complete assignments as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
Utilize web-services to integrate the customer’s current existing system within the Application Programming Interface (API).
Provide solutions that enable, develop, and support the provision of warehouse management system (WMS) and automation software integration, the latest SQL Server implementations, enterprise integration technologies, and API led architectures.
Collaborate with Project team and Customer to assist with both technical questions and support with respect to the server and client applications.
Work directly with the appropriate Customer resources to install and configure the required applications.
Minimum Qualifications
2-4 years' related experience
Bachelor’s degree (Software Engineering)
Occasional travel (0-5%)
Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
Prior programming experience
Proficiency in SQL programming
Proficiency in JScript and/or Java Script
Professional communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of C#, JSON, XML, SQL and experience with ASP . Net.
