Job Description/Duties

Renegade is seeking a Mix Operator to take a hands-on role in small batch (1-100 gallons) production of our polymer resins.

Duties will include:

• Operating resin mixers
• Weighing and adding chemicals to mixers
• Following instructions on resin mix sheets
• Picking raw materials for resin mixes
• Packaging and storing finished product
• Cleaning and light maintenance of mix equipment
• Occasional assistance with shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks

Requirements

Candidate must have:

• Experience mixing chemicals
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Willingness to perform hands-on work
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to shoulder level
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task in a team environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude for hands-on repair and maintenance procedures
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (half-mask vapor respirator, dust mask, safety glasses or glasses with side shields, chemical splash goggles, steel toe shoes)
• Flexibility to work occasional days longer than 8 hours

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds unaided and be able to bend, stand, walk, crouch, and lift items throughout your shift, working in warehouse and in freezer storage.
